Do we work together?

Yes - you and I are a team. And decluttering your space requires teamwork! How much you participate in the physical work (emptying a cupboard, taking out trash and recycling, etc.) varies between clients, but you will be an active participant in setting your priorities and goals, and you will make all the decisions about what items stay and what go.

The one exception to this is if you would like my Home Reset service; in this case, I work alone.

How do I choose my goals and priorities?

Every project starts with a conversation about what you want to achieve, both in the space we’re decluttering and in your life. There’s no right or wrong here! We then use these goals to guide our decisions about which items to keep and how to organize your space at the end.

I find it hard to get rid of things. What if I regret it?

By setting intentional goals and priorities that align with your values, you are less likely to feel regret later about getting rid of something.

It is always possible that you may wish you hadn’t gotten rid of something! But I have a few tips up my sleeve to help work through these feelings should they arise...

And I will never “make” you get rid of anything! It’s 100% your decision what stays and what goes. My role is to guide and support you to make decisions that align with your goals.

How long will it take?

Every client and every project is different. There are many factors that affect a timeline: the number of decisions there are and how easy they are to make; a client’s availability, capability, and preferences; external deadlines; and unforeseen obstacles, to name a few.

Communication with my clients is key to maintaining realistic timelines.
